Charged Up Scouting App 1.0

This application was developed to facilitate the collection of scouting data during the 2023 Charged Up FRC competitions. It complies fully with FRC regulations, as it operates without requiring any form of connection—such as Bluetooth, internet, or data transfer—and is optimized for use on any iOS device.

Developed by FRC Team 548, the Robostangs from Northville, Michigan, the app offers an organized framework to record data during the Autonomous, Tele-Operated, and Endgame phases of the match. It is intended to be integrated into a scouting system involving six users. Each scout can input data for a single robot using straightforward controls; upon submission, a QR code is generated representing the captured data. These QR codes can be scanned collectively, enabling the combined information to be compiled into a text file for subsequent analysis in tools such as Tableau or Excel.

The interface is designed to be intuitive and accessible, requiring only a basic understanding of the Charged Up game mechanics. Users interact through buttons and dropdown menus for specific selections, minimizing complexity and allowing scouts to focus on observing the match rather than operating the software. Additionally, the app includes options for recording all possible game outcomes, supporting effective and comprehensive data analysis.
